Tim Radney

Lead DBA, Synovus Financial Corp

Tim is a Lead System DBA for a top 40 US held bank. He’s the chapter leader for the Columbus GA SQL Users Group and a PASS Regional Mentor for Greater South East US. Tim is a Microsoft Systems Admin turned DBA.

Prior to becoming a full time DBA he spent 10 years supporting Citrix, Novell, Windows, IIS, and MSSQL.

Robin Anderson

Software Tester, Redgate

Robin has the enviable position of getting to break Redgate’s software as often as humanly possible, using his powers for the good of the product. He started at Redgate in 2009 testing and developing DBA-focused SQL Server products including SQL Backup and SQL Monitor. Robin provides expert knowledge on Windows and computer networking.

David Atkinson

Project Manager, Redgate

Since 2005 David has worked on a number of tools for SQL Server beginning with SQL comparison and deployment tools. More recently David’s attention has been focused on bringing SQL Source Control to market. He is currently on a mission to bring the benefits of continuous integration and other Agile practices to database development teams.

David Simner

Software Engineer, Redgate

David started coding when he was 10, after a brief stint pretending to be an academic he joined the Redgate in 2009 as a software developer and has worked on many different products over the years. Currently he’s working in the DLM Dashboard team, and is one of the six Build Masters at Redgate. David has presented sessions at UK SQL Bits conferences, at various SQL in the City events since 2011, at NDC Oslo, Southern Fried Agile, and DDD East Anglia.

Simon Galbraith

CEO, Redgate

Simon is the joint founder and CEO of Redgate Software. Over the past 15 years, Simon has been part of Redgate’s growth from a 2 person firm operating out of a spare room to today’s 300 person outfit with hundreds of thousands of users. Although Simon’s responsibilities are primarily strategic, his background is technical with qualifications including a PhD in physics from Cambridge University and former employment with Shell and ThornEMI.
